Got it installed on Edgy but ...

I have managed to get it installed on edgy. Had to change the symbolic link for bin\bash. The installer runs fine and notes installs (the uninistaller works equally well ;-).

The notes client works with a couple of quirks. The font support is very poor especially in the mail file. The blue/green "open" button does not work. I have tried following the instructions about setting the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME folder as I thought this might be the problem but this was a red herring.

I have found it to be very slow and unstable (would recommend that you wait for things to finish before clicking buttons etc!). Trying to change any of the default fonts in the preferences menu results in an error.

Holding out for Beta 3 .....
